SmartTrack is a completely web-based vehicle tracking and fleet management solution, which comes with a wide array of standard and optional features to suit every customer’s needs. SmartTrack is built around proven hardware and software technologies from leading H&S technology providers in the world including Microsoft (for the back-end server), ESRI GIS for mapping software, and leading GPS hardware suppliers.

Standard Features

Our standard features include real-time vehicle tracking on a secure, web-based platform with access to a centralized fleet database. Users can view vehicles using various icons on detailed, regularly updated maps, and access historical data spanning several years. The system also supports smartphone and tablet tracking for added convenience.

Basic Tools & Reports

Our basic tools and reports include trip and activity reports, speed violation alerts, geo-fencing, as well as notifications for events like site arrivals and service due dates. Automated reports are sent daily, weekly, or monthly to preset email accounts.

Main Components

Vehicle-Mounted Tracking Unit (VTU)

A small device integrating a GPS engine with a GSM/GPRS modem (installed by STS technicians in the vehicle).

SmartTrack Application

A web-based application that offers users the ability to live track their vehicles, and to obtain historical reports giving details of their vehicle’s movements and status at any given time.

GIS Map Database

The data is compiled and updated in-house by STS GIS specialists. The GIS engine used is the latest software from the leading GIS software provider ESRI (Arc GIS Server).
